James Corden reunited with his Gavin & Stacey co-star Ruth Jones as the pair attended The Variety Club Showbusiness Awards on Sunday evening.

The beloved broadcaster, 45, was quite the star of the night as he won Variety Club Silver Heart Award 2024 for Outstanding Global Achievements in Broadcasting, Acting and Comedy.

The comedian showed off a cheerful smile as he posed alongside Ruth, 57.

The pair have been close pals for years beyond the screens, and the Welsh actress appeared in her highest spirits as she supported James' winning night.

The former TV presenter looked suave in a classic black suit co-ord with matching tie, keeping his precious heart-shaped gong close to his chest while striking a pose proudly.

Meanwhile, the writer and producer opted for a floral print semi-sheer blouse and a black strappy top underneath, teamed with smart black trousers.

The Variety Club Showbusiness Awards celebrated 75 years of Variety on Sunday at The Londoner Hotel.

Amanda Holden took to the stage to host the glamorous evening to raise money for the children's charity.

The Britain's Got Talent judge also presented last years star-studded event which she was held at London Hilton in Park Lane.

It comes after Amanda proved she is committed for her work as she was faced with a nightmare commuting earlier this month after she was locked in at her Spanish villa.

The radio star was trying to leave the villa in the early hours to head to a studio to link up with her Heart Breakfast show back in the UK, but ran into problems when she got to the front gate.

Sharing a video of the hilarious morning on Instagram, Amanda told her followers: 'I'm trying to do Heart from Spain but I'm locked in the property!'

Pointing to an outbuilding she exclaimed 'we've found some ladders' before the video showed the star, coffee in hand, climbing over the high fence.

Joking that she was 'fluent in Spanish' Amanda was also attempting to communicate what was happening to the driver who was waiting for her on the other side of the fence.

Amanda has been jetting between the UK and Spain where she is filming the third series of her property makeover show with Alan Carr.

Amanda & Alan's Spanish Job will see the pair take on a rambling, run down property in the province of Andalusia.
